The correct option is B 1900
Gregor Johann Mendel was an Austrian monk who discovered the principles of heredity through experiments on the garden pea (Pisum sativum) of his garden. He experimented with 14 varieties of garden pea comprising around 28,000 pea plants in seven years and chalked out his results. But his work and efforts remained unnoticed for almost 34 years. In 1900, three scientists working independently rediscovered the findings of Mendel. They were Hugo de Vries, Carl Correns, and Erich von Tschermak.
