Dear student,
Menstrual cycle is the regular and cyclic events or the changes which occurs in the body of an female.It involves the loss of blood through the female uterus for 3 to 5 days when the egg is not fertilised by the sperm in the female body. The egg starts degenerating and it also sheds the blood lining of the uterus which was prepared or richly supplied with blood vessels to support and nourish the zygote which will be formed after the fertilisation of ovum with sperm. Various hormonal changes occurs in the body of female at the time of menstrual cycle.
