The main difference between the living cell and the bricks in a wall are;

1. The growth occurs in the living cell where as it does not take place in the individual bricks.

2. The living cell undergoes cell division to increase the number of cell but bricks breaks up with external force or by the external impact.

3. The living cell represents the structural and the functional unit of life where as bricks are only structural unit of wall.
