Solution
Neural tissue makes up the nervous system. It is concerned with the responsiveness of the body. It is chiefly composed of neurons. Each neuron or nerve cell consists of a cell body or cyton with a prominent nucleus, hair-like extensions called dendrites, and a long axon.
The special properties of the cells of the nervous tissue are excitability and conductivity.
Excitability is the ability to initiate nerve impulses in response to stimuli.
Conductivity means the ability to transmit a nerve impulse.
