Disadvantages:

1.If one point breaks in the series circuit,the total circuit will break.

2. As the number of components in a circuit increases ,greater will be the circuit resistance.

3.There is no way to control individual device, you have to turn on or off the whole series.

4.Appliances with different power rating can't be used.

5.voltage(Potential Difference) will not be same.
