Mention one way in which we make use of the heat produced by friction.

1. As we know that friction acts when two bodies are in contact. When friction acts between the two surfaces in contact heat is produced.
2. The heat produced due to friction is harmful in most cases but in some cases, it is useful also. For example in winter when we feel cold in our hands we rub them to make them warmer.
