1.It is the breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen to generate more amount of energy. 1.It is the breakdown of glucose in the absence of oxygen in order to generate energy.
2.A high amount is produced. 2.Less amount is produced.
3.Carbon dioxide and water are final products. 3.Lactic acid (animal cells), carbon dioxide and ethanol (plants cells) are formed.
