Mention the asexual reproduction structures produced by sponge.

Sponges reproduce both asexually and sexually. Asexual reproduction is by means of budding and branching, regeneration, fission and fragmentation, reduction bodies and gemmules. Fresh water and marine water sponges reproduces by a specialized asexual reproduction structures called as gemmules. It survives during unfavourable conditions and germinates during favourable conditions to produce new sponges.
