The post-fertilisation changes as observed in a flower are as followings:
1: The fertilised ovary is transformed into the fruit. Ovary wall forms the wall of the fruit (pericarp).
2: Ovule is transformed into seed. Integument of ovule harden to form seed coat.
3: Sepals and petals of the flower fall off after fertilisation.
4: Diploid zygote develops into embryo. The primary endosperm nucleus develops into endosperm and serves as source of nutrition for the developing embryo.
