Biosphere: The portions or parts of Earth where life exists or can be supported by the Biosphere.

The components of the Biosphere are:

1. Land(lithosphere) - the surface area/crust of the earth is called the lithosphere. It is generally covered by soil and rocks.
2. Water(Hydrspere) - various forms of water(saline, freshwater, vapor, etc) constitute the hydrosphere. About 75% of the earth's surface is covered with water.
3. Air(Atmosphere) - it is the combination of gases like CO2, NO2, O2, etc along with the air that forms the atmosphere.
4. Living organisms - All forms of life on earth are living organisms. These are generally divided into Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers.
