Bile juice:

  1. It is a thick greenish-yellow liquid that is released into the small intestine by the gall bladder.
  2. The liver produces bile juice which is necessary for the emulsification of the fat in our food for easier digestion.
  3. This bile enters the gall bladder through hepatic ducts and is stored there till the time it is needed for the digestion which happens within the small intestine.
  4. The bile juice is alkaline in nature which is necessary for the activation of enzymes like trypsin and chymotrypsin.
