Location of blood vessels:

For circulation of blood in the whole body heart, arteries and veins take part. Arteries carry oxygenated blood from the heart to the whole body and veins do the opposite task.

  1. Pulmonary artery : It circulates blood from the right ventricle to the lungs.
  2. Posterior vena cava: It carries blood from the lower parts of the body to the right auricle.
  3. Pulmonary vein: It carries blood with oxygen from the left atrium and circulates it in the whole body.
  4. Posterior vena cava: It brings blood from the lower part of the body to the right atrium.
  5. Hepatic portal vein: It carries blood from the stomach and intestine to the liver.
