The three ways democracy can be improved in practical form in India include:

1. A democracy can be successful and vibrant only when citizens imbibe and reflect in their mind set, thinking and behaviour the basic values like equality, freedom, secularism, social justice, accountability and respect for all. They have to appreciate the opportunities for their desired roles and play proactive roles to actualise the goals of democracy.​

2. Caste based politics should be rooted out.Corrupt and disloyal politicians should not be given chance to participate in politics as leaders.

3. People need to be tolerant and respect each other. They should know their rights and responsibilities and use media as their mouthpiece to critise corrupt government practices and challenge it.
