Cyclosporin A is a drug obtained from soil fungi Trichoderma polysporum. It is used to avoid graft rejection in the case of organ and tissue transplantation as it acts as a powerful immunosuppressant. It is also used in the case of rheumatoid arthritis and nephrotic syndrome.
