Open in App
Solution

Interphase:

  1. The G1 phase, S phase and G2 phase together form the interphase.
  2. During the G1 phase, the cell grows in size, besides synthesising RNA and proteins.
  3. In the S phase, replication of DNA and synthesis of histone proteins occur.
  4. In the G2 phase, the synthesis of RNA and proteins continues and two centrosomes are formed by replication of a single centrosome.
