Infectious diseases:
Infectious diseases are diseases that can be transferred from one individual to another by various modes.
One of the modes of transfer is sexual contact. In this mode, the microbes that cause diseases are transferred through the secretions of genital organs.
Examples of diseases that spread through sexual contact are AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) and Hepatitis B.
Both of these diseases are caused by the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and Hepatitis B virus respectively.
