Given, Merry wants to pack equal number of slices of both apple and oranges.

Each box can stor either 27 apple slices or 36 orange slices.

Minimum number of apple slices or orange slices she can pack will be LCM of 27 and 36.

Prime factorisation of 27 and 36 will be
27=3×3×3
36=2×2×3×3
LCM will be 2×2×3×3×3=108

Merry can pack 108 oranges slices in 3 boxes and 108 apple slices in 4 boxes.
