The correct option is A

Mean = 87.25, Median = 84.5 and Mode = 82


The Central tendency has three measures namely mean, median and mode.

We know that,
Mean =Sum of observationsNumber of observations

Now,
Mean =87+82+82+984
Mean=87.25

Since, the number of observations is even, the median would be the average of the middle terms arranged in either ascending or descending order i.e. 82, 82, 87, 98.

Median = (n2)th term +(n2+1)th term2
= 2nd term + 3rd term2
= 82 + 872
= 84.5

The mode is the most frequently occurring value in the observation table, which is equal to 82.

Thus, mean = 87.25, median = 84.5 and mode = 82.
