Solution

Step 1. Determine the number of faulty phones produced every day.

Given that a total number of phones produced every day is 1200 and 213% of the phones produced every day are faulty.

Therefore,

Numberoffaultyphonesproducedeveryday=1200×213%=1200×73%=1200×73×1100=28

Hence, the number of faulty phones produced every day is 28

Step 2. Determine the number of defective packaged phones produced every day.

Given that 413% of the phones produced everyday are defective in packaging. Therefore,

Numberofdefectivephonesproducedeveryday=1200×413%=1200×133%=1200×133×1100=52

Hence, the number of defective packaged phones produced every day is 52

Step 3. Determine the number of non-faulty and non-defective packaged phones produced every day.

Numberofnon-faultyandnon-defectivephonesproducedeveryday=Totalphones-Faultyphones+Defectivephones=1200-28+52=1200-80=1120

Hence, 1120 non-faulty and non-defective packaged phones are produced every day.
