Now both are mixed equal quantities for vessel C.

Vessel A$\to$ let $5x$ be the quantity

Milk $=4x$

Water $=x$

Vessel B$\to 5x$ be the quantity

Milk $=3x$

Water $=2x$

Vessel C$=$ Vessel A$+$ Vessel B

Milk in vessel C$=4x+3x=7x$

Water in vessel C$=x+2x=3x$

$\therefore \frac{Milk}{water}=\frac{7\text{/}x}{3\text{/}x}=\frac{7}{3}$.
