Mithun’s uncle in America had sent him 10 USA dollars as a gift. Mithun used 350 rupees for a school trip. How much money was left with him? (1 dollar = 77.79 rupees)

Solution:

1 Dollar = ₹ 77.79.
As Mithun’s uncle sent him 100 US dollars, he has: 10 x 77.79 = ₹ 777.90
The remaining money with Mithu after school trip = 777.9 - 350

Hence after the school trip, Mithun will be left with ₹427.90
