Dear student,
Following are the different modes of transmission of diseases:-
Diarrhoea can be transmitted through-contaminated food and water, viruses etc.
Hepatitis B can be transmitted through infected blood and needles, body fluid which is already infected with the disease. Hepatitis A is transmitted through faecal-oral route i.e throughā contaminated food and water,ā
Jaundice is caused by hepatitis virus which is transmitted through contaminated food and water
Rabies transmission usually begins when infected saliva of an animal is passed to an uninfected animal or human through a bite. From the saliva's point of entry, the rabies virus travels along nerve cells to the brain. It multiplies there and causes damage to nervous system. The virus then moves to salivary glands again.
Mode of spread of polio is through faecal-oral route.
