Mohan, Amrith and Rajveer live in the same city. Mohan sells an article to Amrith for ₹5000. Amrith sells the same article to Rajveer at a profit of ₹400. If all the transactions are under a GST of 12% ,find the SGST paid by Amrith.

The correct option is C ₹24
Rate of GST = 12%
So, SGST = CGST = 6%
Tax paid by Amrith to the State Government(SGST) = SGST on Output - SGST on Input
= 6% of ₹5400 - 6% of ₹5000
= 6% of ₹400 = ₹24
