$∴$ Age of Mohan $= (x + 4) y e a r s$
Sum of their ages $= 54$

$2 x + 4 = 54$
$2 x = 50 \Rightarrow x = 25$
Age of Sohan $= 25 y e a r s$
Age of Mohan $= x + 4 = 25 + 4 = 29 y e a r s$
