Mohan purchase 18 dozens of pairs of socks for Rs. 11880. Due to rain on the way, the socks lost their shining and he sold all the pairs of socks at a loss of selling price of 24 pairs of socks. What was his percentage loss in this deal?

cost price of 1 dozen socks=11880÷18=660
24=2 dozen
S.P of (18+2)=20 dozen is same as total C.P
S.P of 1 dozen=594
Loss in 1 dozen= (660-594)=66
So loss percent=(66/660)×100%=10%
