Solution

The correct option is A Mohan's share = Rs 50
Shyam's share = Rs 20
Manisha's share = Rs 40
Mohan, Shyam and Manisha invested in the ratio of 50 : 20 : 40 = 5 : 2 : 4.
Let us assume that their investments are 5k, 2k and 4k respectively.
According to the question,
5k + 2k + 4k = 110
11k = 110
k = 11011=10

The profits earned will be in the same ratio as that of their investments, that is, 5 : 2 : 4.
Mohan's share = 5k = 5 × 10 = Rs 50
Shyam's share = 2k = 2 × 10 = Rs 20
Rohan's share =3k = 4 × 10 = Rs 40
