Solution

Finding the number of shirts

Total length of cloth available
=30 m=3000 cm (1m=100cm)
Shirt made by using 2m 30cm or 230cm cloth =1

Shirt made by using 30m cloth
1230×3,000
=13.04
=13 shirts
Cloth required to make 13 shirts
=230×13
=2,990cm

Finding length of cloths left
Remaining cloth =3000 cm2990 cm=10 cm

Hence, 13 shirts can be made and 10 cm cloth will be left.
