Solution

The correct option is D ₹3240
Rate of GST = 12%

So, SGST = CGST = 6%

CGST = CGST paid by Mohit + CGST paid by Akbar

CGST paid by Mohit = 6% of ₹50000 = ₹3000

CGST paid by Akbar = CGST collected by Akbar - CGST paid by Akbar

= 6% of ₹54000 - (6% of ₹50000)

= ₹240

So, total CGST paid = ₹3000 + ₹240 = ₹3240
