Question
Mona jumped 1 m 55 cm long. How many centimetres longer should Mona jump, in order to reach 2 m?
Open in App
Solution
We know that 1 m = 100 cm
So, 2 m = 2 x 100 = 200 cm.
Length of Mona's jump = 1 m 55 cm
= 100 cm + 55 cm
= 155 cm
Difference between 200 cm and 155 cm = 200 - 155 = 45 cm
