Solution

The correct option is A (I) Pedicel, (2) thalamus, (3) Sepals and petals, (4) male, (5) female, (6) unisexual, (7) bisexual, (8) monoecious, (9) dioecious
Pedicel is a stem that attaches single flowers to the inflorescence. it is the branches or stalks that hold each flower in an inflorescence. So, blank 1 is pedicel.
Thalamus is the broad base of the on which other organs of the flower rest. So, blank 2 is thalamus.
Sepals are the green outermost leaf like floral organs which protect the flower in bud stage and provide support to outer floral organs. Petals are colored accessory floral organs which lie above sepals and they may also provide protection to centrally placed reproductive organs (stamens and carpel). So, carpels and petals are accessory structures of the flowers. So, blank 3 is sepals and petals.
Stamens are the male reproductive organs of the flower while carpels form the central female reproductive organs of the flower. So, blank 4 and 5 is male and female respectively.
A flower is unisexual if it has either stamen or pistil but not both. So, blank 6 is unisexual.
A flower is bisexual if it has both stamen and pistil on the same flower. So, blank 7 is bisexual.
The plants with unisexual flowers that have both male and female reproductive organs in the same plant is monoecious. So, blank 8 is monoecious.
The plants were male and female reproductive organs are found on different individuals is called dioecious.
Thus, the correct answer is option (A).
