The gradual improvement in agricultural practice that took place from 1940 to 1970s. This revolution also known as the Green Revolution has taken place through several researches, developments and acquiring new technologies. Farmers acquire new, advanced and time saving techniques and also used high yield varieties of seeds which increase the rate of production and quality of crops that also improved their way as well as quality of living. Green revolution not only harvested crops but also created job for agricultural workers as well as industrial workers. This also reduced the level of poverty to some extent.
