The correct option is A Cortical nephrons
In a nephron, the Bowman’s capsule and glomerulus come together to form the renal corpuscle. The renal corpuscle alongwith the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT) and the distal convoluted tubule (DCT) can be found in the cortical regions of the kidney. Whereas, the loop of Henle dips into the medulla. Based on the extent to which the loop of Henle dips into the medulla, nephrons can be classified into two types. When the Henle’s loop is short and dips only very little into the medulla, then these nephrons that contain this type of Henle’s loop can be called as the cortical nephrons. Juxtamedullary nephrons are those nephrons that have longer loops of Henle which are seen to run deep into the medulla.
