Solution

The correct option is B Hydrolases
Digestion is a process by which complex food molecules like starch, protein etc which are found in different plant and animal sources are broken down to simple molecules that can function in the body as energy sources or as building blocks to form different body structures. Therefore digestive enzymes should have the ability to break peptide bonds and glycosidic bonds. These complex bonds can be broken by hydrolysis, that is addition of H2O and the class of enzymes that carry out this process are called hydrolases.

Lyases are a class of enzymes that catalyze the breaking of various chemical bonds by means other than hydrolysis and oxidation, often forming a new double bond or a new ring structure.
Transferases are one of a class of enzymes that bring about the transfer of specific functional groups from one molecule (called the donor) to another (called the acceptor).
Oxidoreductases are enzymes that catalyzes the transfer of electrons from one molecule, the reductant, also called the electron donor, to another, the oxidant, also called the electron acceptor. This group of enzymes usually utilizes NADP or NAD+ as cofactors.
