Motility is acquired by sperms in
Epididymis
The spermatozoa are released into the epididymis in a process called spermiation where they continue to mature. Despite having all the required structural components, the spermatozoa in the seminiferous tubules and the early epididymis are not motile. However, after around 18 to 24 hours of sitting around in the epididymis, these spermatozoa develop the property of motility.
