Solution

The correct option is A 2x + y - 1

Given,
Number of pizza Mr. A has ordered = x
Number of burger Mr. A has ordered = y

Number of pizza Mr. B has ordered is twice the pizza than Mr. A = 2x

Number of burger Mr. B has ordered is one less than Mr. A has ordered = y - 1

Total number of Mr.B's orders = number of pizzas Mr. B has ordered + number of burgers Mr. B has ordered
(2x) + (y-1)

Hence, total number of orders bought by Mr. B = 2x + y - 1
