The correct option is B ₹23000
Let the Total income be ₹x.
Expenditure = 60%
Savings = 100 - 60 = 40%
From his savings only he donates and ₹ 8000 is left with him even after that.
So, 40% of x = ₹8000 + ₹1200 = ₹9200
$\frac{40 x}{100}$ = ₹9200
x = $\frac{9200 \times 100}{40}$ = ₹23000
