The correct option is C ₹35000 Let the Total income be ₹x. Expenditure = 80% Savings = 100 - 80 = 20% From his savings only he donates ₹2000 and ₹5000 is left with him after that. So, 20% of x = ₹5000 + ₹2000 = ₹7000 ⇒20x100 = ₹7000 ⇒x=7000×10020=₹35000
