Mr. Hari joined as a General Manager in a company on evaluating the activities being performed in the organisation. He observed that people were placed at positions which did not match the skills. He noticed obedience of rules and regulation by the employees. There were duplication of activities result in wastage of resources. The employees in the organisation were know interested in the decision making as they felt that no recognition was been given to their suggestion. Due to these factors were not cooperative with each other.

The principles of Fayol being violated are:

1) Order: It implies that there should be right arrangement of things at their respective places, i.e. right people at right place and at right time.

2) Espirit de corps: It means that managers should promote team spirit among employees. Each employee should have sense of belongingness in the organisation.

3) Initiative: It implies that workers should be given motivation and incentive to work.

4) Centralisation and decentralisation: It states that management must strike a balance between what areas to decentralise and what responsibilities can be retained with the top management,
