Mr. Lalit invested Rs 5000 at a certain rate of interest, compounded annually for two years. At the end of first it amounts to Rs 5325. Calculate.
The amount at the end of second year, to the nearest rupee.

Amount at the end of first year=5325
S.I=AP
=53255000
=325
Therefore,
Amount at the end of the second year a(1+r100)2
=5000(1+6.51000)2=5000×10651000×10651000=213×2138=453998=5671
Hence,
The amount at the end of second year is Rs5671.
