To find the number of years he worked
Retirement Year $-$ The age he jot the job
$60 - 24 = 36$
Hence, the number of years he worked is $36$
To find the fraction of his age till retirement was he in the job
We know that $F r a c t i o n = \frac{P a r t}{W h o l e}$
Where the number of years he worked is $36$ (Part)
The number of years for retirement is $60$ (Whole)
$∴ F r a c t i o n = \frac{36}{60} = \frac{6}{10} = \frac{3}{5}$
Hence, the fraction of his age till retirement was he in the job is $\frac{3}{5}$ years
