Solution

The correct option is A 25%
Amount paid by Mr. Virmani to purchase the laptop = ₹ 7,000
Amount spent on repair = ₹ 1,000
Total amount spent on the laptop (C.P)
= ₹ (7,000 + 1,000)
= ₹ 8,000
The laptop is sold at (S.P) = ₹ 10,000
As, S.P > C.P so there will be profit.
Profit = S.P - C.P = ₹ (10,000 - 8,000) = ₹ 2,000

Profit Percent=ProfitC.P×100

2,0008,000×100 =ProfitPercent

% Profit = 25%
Hence, the profit percentage is 25%.
