Solution

Spermiogenesis is the process of development of mature spermatozoa from spermatids. During this process the head formation occurs, acrosome and tail formation also occurs, and the DNA gets packaged within basic proteins called protamines. This results in the formation of mature sperm cells. The failure in spermiogenesis will result in low sperm number, abnormal sperm morphology and low sperm motility.
