Area of the square plot=$(25\times 25)m^2$

Area of the house=$(20\times 15)m^2$

Area of remaining portion in which the garden is built

$=$ Area of square plot $-$ Area of the house

$=(25\times 25)-(15\times 20)$

$=325m^2$

Total cost $=$ Rs $(325\times 55)=$ Rs $17,875$
