For finding the median of the scores, the test scores have to be arranged in ascending order.

On arranging, we get:
8 10 13 14 15 16 16 17 18 18 18 20 21 23 25

Number of children = N = 15

Median for odd number of data $= \frac{N + 1}{2} th term$

$= \frac{15 + 1}{2} th term$

$= \frac{16}{2} th term$

= 8th term = 17

Median of the above scores = 17
