The correct option is A Rebellion and plague
Muhammad Bin Tughlaq split the new capital Daulatabad into different wards or neighbourhoods called Mohallas. It had separate quarters for different people like soldiers, poets, judges and nobles. Moving away from Delhi led to a lack of authority which encouraged people to rebel against Muhammad bin Tughlaq. He was forced to leave Daulatabad to suppress rebellions and on one such excursion, he and his troops were hit by the bubonic plague leading to many deaths.
