Open in App
Solution

Let amount with Sagar be Rs x.
Amount with Mukund = Rs x + 50
The product of the amount they have is 15,000.
xx+50=15000x2+50x=15000x2+50x-15000=0x2+150x-100x-15000=0xx+150-100x+150=0x-100x+150=0x=100,-150
But amount cannot be negative so,
Amount with Sagar = Rs 100 and that with Mukund is Rs 150.
