Solution

The correct option is A grasses and palms
In parallel venation, veinlets are inconspicuous. The veins run parallel to one another. Parallel venation is a characteristic of monocots. It is of two types :
- Pinnate or unicostate parallel venation where there is single principle vein or midrib that runs from base to the apex of the lamina. The lateral veins run parallel to one another without forming anastomoses e.g., banana, Canna.
- Palmate or multicostate parallel venation where several parallel veins arise from the base of the lamina e.g., bamboo, grass, fan palm.
