The multiplication pattern is explained in the table given below.
Ones digit of all the numbers are in descending order i.e. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
And, the tens digit are the numbers in ascending order i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Ones digit number and tens digit number adds to 9.
9 × 1 = 9
9 × 2 = 18 1 + 8 = 9
9 × 3 = 27 2 + 7 = 9
9 × 4 = 36 3 + 6 = 9
9 × 5 = 45 4 + 5 = 9
9 × 6 = 54 5 + 4 = 9
9 × 7 = 63 6 + 3 = 9
9 × 8 = 72 7 + 2 = 9
9 × 9 = 81 8 + 1 = 9
