Multiply the following numbers by formula Nikhilam:
(i) 11×12
(ii) 27×28

(i)
1. Both numbers have base as 10
2. 11 is 1 more than 10 and 12 is 2 more than 10.
3. (1)×(2)=2.
4. (11+2) or (12+1) = 13.
5. FINAL ANSWER = 132.

(ii)
1. Both numbers have base as 10
2. 27 is 17 more than 10 and 28 is 18 more than 10.
3. (17)×(18)=306. (since base is 10 we use 6 and add 30 to the following)
4. (27+18) or (28+17) = 45. (Adding 30 to 45 we get 75)
5. FINAL ANSWER = 756.
