The correct option is A 2,000
To find: 125×16 by lattice method

Since, the multiplication of 3 digit number by 2 digit number, we need 3×2 (3 by 2) rectangle. 125 will be arranged on top while 16 on right of the rectangle as shown in figure below,
now diagonals as drawn as shown in below figure,

Multiply the digits on top with the digits on the right of the rectangle and write the ones digit in the product to the right and tens digit to the left of the respective diagonals as shown in below figure,
Now, adding the numbers along the diagonals from bottom right corner to top left corner, as shown in figure below,
Sum with two digits (10), ones digit are kept and other are carry forwaded to next summation as shown in below figure,
now writing the digits from left to bottom of rectangle will give the desired multiplication.

from left to bottom digits are 02,000. Therefore, 125×16=2,000.
